Lecture Series
CROW invites you to attend its Healing Winds Visitor Education Center lecture series presented by staff, students, and volunteers. Lecture series are hosted at 11a.m. on Thursdays at CROW. Free to Members and $5.00 for Adult Admission. Please check our Calendar-of-Events for dates and presentation topics.
CROW is proud to be part of the Trails & Tales Partnership, a joint venture between five Sanibel-area nonprofit environmental organizations. Trails & Tales members work together to inform the public about the area's natural attractions, to protect and preserve our local ecological wonders, and present an impressive slate of related educational programs. The ultimate goal is to offer insight into Sanibel's environmental habitat by regularly spotlighting topics such as local history, land and water preservation efforts, native wildlife and seashells.
Trails & Tales Partnership participants present educational sessions once a month at the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge visitor center. To view a complete schedule and register for events, please visit www.Sanibeltrailsandtales.org
The organizations that make up the Trails & Tales Partnership are the J.N. Ding Darling USFW Refuge, Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW), The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum, Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) and the Sanibel Historical Museum & Village.
