GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day.
It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This year for #GivingTuesday, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) has set a goal of raising $10,000 to assist us in our mission of saving wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education and conservation medicine.
2019 has already been a very busy year in CROW's Wildlife Hospital. Over 4,900 sick, injured or orphaned wildlife patients have been admitted with more animals arriving every day in need of medical care. Your contribution helps CROW provide veterinary care, food and medicine to these animals, develop research for more successful treatment, educate visitors through the Education Center and outreach programs, and work with other organizations to improve the health of our wildlife and our environment.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), CROW relies on foundational grants, money raised though the Visitor Education Center and educational programs, fundraising events, and donations from the community including people like you! Without your help and support, we would not be able to provide care to the thousands of wild animals in need that are admitted to the Wildlife Hospital each year!
