"My favorite animal at CROW also happens to be my favorite species of bird: the Black-necked Stilts. Their legs just looks so long compared to the rest of their body, and I think that they're so pretty. The ones we currently have happened to come in on my very first day at CROW, and I got to watch them grow from little hatchlings into adults. I also thought it was so cool watching their feathers change color and go from light brown and spotted to dark black and white. I also think that the black portion of their feathers look kind of like a little jacket which is really cute."
"My favorite memory would have to be my first release. We were releasing a royal tern, and when we let it out of his box, he simply walked out and waddled away. He would take little pauses and look around and look at us and then just keep walking away and he just looked very silly."
"My hobbies outside of CROW consist of photography, video editing, and a lot of artsy things such as watercolor painting, or clay sculpting. Although I’m still not fluent in any other language aside from English I also love learning other languages, and can understand some basics of several languages."
"Although I still don’t know specifically what I want to do, I want to go into wildlife conservation, and would like to participate in some research projects along the way as well. I was fortunate enough to have gotten 7 years of experience at a wildlife ranch at a young age, which has opened up a lot of doors for me."
